Frances Ess

 France Ess is a senior teacher for geography at Mayflower Secondary School since 2010. She has been a Geography teacher since 1986 and a Social Studies teacher since 2002. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Geography and Economics from the National University in 1985, her Diploma in Education in 1986. In 2012, she did her sabbatical in the National Institute of Educational, Nanyan Technological University for ten weeks. She attended the Teaching Leader’s Programme in 2018.  Her research interests include Geography Education, Climate-Change Education, and Pedagogy for Humanities, Socratic Questioning, and Effective Classroom Strategies.
